Biography : Girls Night Out to Cut Out Domestic Abuse (GNO) is a turnkey national effort to break the silence, break the cycle and help save lives. What began as a survivor's personal moment of obligation to break her own silence and in the process support, benefit and empower local women, children and families impacted by domestic abuse and domestic homicide, has now become a national grassroots movement led by survivors, grassroots advocates, volunteers and communities of concerned citizens across the country to simultaneously raise awareness and funds for this silent epidemic. On the same night at salons and spas across the U.S., we simultaneously come together to: SUPPORT ...efforts to educate family, friends, co-workers and community members how to recognize, respond and refer. BENEFIT ... grassroots domestic abuse prevention initiatives and local programs that help women and children escape domestic abuse. EMPOWER ...victims to break their silence and communities to collectively break the cycle.
