PurpleRibbonCouncil's Profile

Location : Arizona
Occupation : Non Profit Founder, Advocate, Community Mobilizer
Action I am taking : Filling a gap in mass awareness, education, and prevention outreach by mobilizing other survivors and a new generation of advocates to collectively work to break the silence, break the cycle and save lives. Educating as many people as possible how to recognize and respond to the signs of domestic abuse.
I care about : The most silent victims of domestic abuse who have no where to turn: the children. The Purple Ribbon Council believes wholeheartedly that innovative approaches to PREVENT domestic abuse are equally as important as victim response measures.
People I admire : Everyday people who selflessly help others and work in true collaboration to bring about positive social change. The women and men who bravely protect our freedom. Survivors of domestic abuse who have courageously broken the cycle of violence in their lives.
